our website. Malak School
is in the northern suburb
region of Darwin in the
Northern Territory of Australia.
Our culturally diverse school
population is comprised
of approximately 300 students.
The
school is organised as a
Primary School (years 4-6)
and an Early Childhood (Preschool
- Year 3). The school has
specialist teachers in English
as a Second Language (ESL)
Information Communication
Technology (ICT) Special
Education and Enrichment
(Languages, Music).
The Malak Preschool is a
recognised Early Entry provider.
Children are eligible for
pre-school provided they
turn 4 by June30 of the
current school year. |

school functions under an
elected School Council.
Early in the year (March)
the Annual General Meeting
is held and community members
are elected.
The school motto is Learning for Life and
our Code of Conduct states:
Respect yourself, Respect
others and Respect the Environment.
The school is firmly committed
to this code and runs contemporary
programs suited to the individual
needs of our students to
achieve lifelong learning.
